Membership

The DSC is a member of the National Firearms Association and have a wide membership that includes people from all walks of life. All of our members are covered by a substantial liability insurance policy. All for a cost of just $40.00, which includes the insurance we are required to pay for each member. When you compare our fee to other Newfoundland & Labrador clubs or mainland clubs, ours is an exceptional price! Membership renewals are due on or before July 31st of each year.

Fee Structure:

• $40.00 (Cheque, Money Order & Cash)
• $41.50 (EMT - fees)
• $42.00 (PayPal - fees)

To become a member of the Discovery Shooting Club you must be a resident of Newfoundland & Labrador and fulfill the following requirements:

• Be 18^* years of age or older and be a resident of Newfoundland & Labrador
• Review our Safety Rules/Regulations and Fill out a Membership Application
• Mail it to the below address with the appropriate payment

• ^*SPECIAL MEMBERSHIP: Junior memberships, under 18, are just $30.00 but junior members must be accompanied by an adult DSC member “in good standing” and be under their immediate and direct supervision when handling any firearm unless they have a valid minor’s licence. EMT – We also accept membership renewals through EMT. Contact us if you want to pay with this option. Please note we require that you add $1.50 to all fees paid by EMT to cover the transaction cost.

One year memberships are standard but three year memberships can be arranged upon request.

If you are interested in a three year membership just indicate that fact on the Membership Application and include your $120.00 payment.
